Phase 2—Concept Exploratory Phase

Building on our understanding of the project's goals and target audience, the Webworks team will develop one or more initial design concepts. These exploratory models serve as a visual foundation for the project's identity and inform the overall creative direction of the website.

Key visual components developed during this phase include brand identity elements, mood and tone, color palette, graphic styling, typography systems, and navigation design.

Based on client feedback, a single, distinct art direction will be selected and further refined. The final design presentation will feature sample layouts for primary pages (e.g., home page), secondary pages (e.g., main sections), and tertiary pages (e.g., detailed content or utility pages).

At this stage, detailed design work begins on key interface elements such as accent images, header graphics, navigational buttons, and custom icons. For animated features, storyboards will be developed to define motion, timing, and interaction flow.

The visual system—including colors, typefaces, and logos—is finalized during this phase. The Webworks team will deliver a comprehensive style guide that defines usage of live and static fonts, logo applications across screen types, a standardized color palette using hex values, and design specifications for interface components such as buttons, links, titles, labels, tables, banners, and email templates.

This phase ensures a cohesive and brand-aligned visual language is established before development begins.
